Paresh Rawal on his statement

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor said, “I haven’t offered them (urine), right? Or are they having a problem because I didn’t offer them? Are they feeling, ‘Yaar yeh akele pee gaye aur humko nahin diya?!'” He added, “It’s an incident of my life which took place 40 years ago. Woh maine bol diya. Usme kya ho gaya? People enjoy making a mountain out of a molehill. Karne do unko mazaa!” Rawal claimed that a lot of people approached him after his statement about drinking urine. “A lot of people have, but I don’t want to get into it.”

In the same interview, Paresh Rawal also addressed his earlier statement in which he referred to Akshay Kumar as a colleague rather than a friend. He shared, “I simply said that he’s a colleague. When you say ‘friend’, it means those whom you meet 5-6 times a month and whom you talk to several times a week. Moreover, neither Akshay nor I are social. So, there’s no question of us bumping into each other at any party. Hence, I called him a colleague. And this resulted in (speculations). People are asking, ‘Kya ho gaya (aap dono ke beech)?’ Arre bhai, kuch nahin hua.”

About Paresh Rawal’s urine statement

In an interview, the actor shared how he sustained injury on Ghatak sets and revealed Veeru Devgan’s remedy to cure it. He shared, “Veeru Devgan had come to visit when I was in Nanavati (hospital). When he got to know I was there, he came up to me and asked what happened to me? I told him about my leg injury. He told me to drink my own urine first thing in the morning. I had decided if I had to drink my own urine, I’ll not have it at one go; I’ll sip it like beer. Because I want to do it properly. I did this for 15 days. Fifteen days later, when the doctor took my x-ray, he was shocked.”

On the work front, Rawal will next be seen in Nikita Roy with Sonakshi Sinha. He is reportedly back in Hera Pheri 3 after an alleged feud with makers.
