The Big B has chosen Aadesh Shrivastav and Vishal-Shekhar to set some of his father's poems, handpicked by him, to music in a bid to introduce the younger generation to Harivanshrai Bachchan's poetry
One could call it healthy competition. The timeless lines penned by Amitabh Bachchan’s father Harivanshrai Bachchan are now being set to music for the Big B’s singing pleasure by two of the Bachchans’ favourite music composers — Aadesh Shrivastav and Vishal-Shekhar.
Shrivastav, who has composed a majority of the Big B’s self-rendered songs, is at the moment working on a musical version of Harivanshrai Bachchan’s famous poem Madhushala.
