Ahead of its theatrical release in India, a special screening of Dev Patel-starrer Lion in Delhi has been planned. Union Minister of Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi will host the preview tomorrow for VVIPs in a bid to throw light on missing children in India. The special guest for the evening will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speaking to hitlist, the film&rsquo;s Indian distributor Avinaash Jumani says, "We are glad Manekaji has expressed desire to screen the film. It&rsquo;s for a noble cause and the thought of the film matters. We are in the process of organising the screening."
The event will also see the launch of the film&rsquo;s online campaign #LionHeart, which pledges to involve more hands for the betterment of street children. "The makers hope this will create awareness and help the cause of missing children in India," says a source.
Big preparations are underway to welcome PM Modi to the screening. The list of invitees includes Parliamentarians and social dignitaries.
