If reports are to be believed then Paresh Rawal is all set to play the role of Narendra Modi in a biopic produced by Mitesh Patel. The journey of the Gujarat chief minister from a tea stall vendor to India’s prime ministerial candidate is the stuff dreams are made of. Modi’s life as a politician has been an eventful one, which makes it interesting enough to be shown on celluloid. Rawal, who earlier played the role of Vallabhbhai Patel in the film, Sardar, will reportedly undergo a look test next month. The fact that the actor shares a good rapport with Modi should hopefully help him in preparing for the character. We should expect some good dialogues in the film, given Modi’s talent for oratory.
