Amid high anticipation, the makers of Prabhas' upcoming action-thriller, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, announced its new release date. The Prashanth Neel directorial was initially scheduled to debut on silver screens on September 28. While the film avoided the Jawan wave, the clash between Prabhas and Shah Rukh Khan on Christmas this year is confirmed. 

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire will be releasing in theatres globally on December 22. Shah Rukh's Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, will also come out in cinema halls on the same date. The socio-drama's release date was locked on April 19, 2022, when the title announcement video was unveiled.
