He is known for for performances in films like &#39;Khandaan&#39;, &#39;Madhumati&#39;, &#39;Milan&#39;, &#39;Aurat&#39;, &#39;Bari Behen&#39;, &#39;Jis Desh Men Ganga Behti Hai&#39;, &#39;Half Ticket&#39;, &#39;Upkar&#39;, &#39;Purab Aur Paschim&#39;, &#39;Don&#39;, &#39;Zanjeer&#39; and &#39;Amar, Akbar, Anthony&#39;. He had not been keeping well since the past few months, and he was in and out of the hospital lately. u00a0
