Richa Chadha's role in Farhan Akhtar's web series, Inside Edge, is believed to be inspired by Preity Zinta, who owns an IPL team. Zinta feels she was targeted because she is a woman and actor.
"It breaks my heart that with all my success and hard work, I have to go through all this. People will make shows and say, 'Oh, it's based on cricket.' They'll show the woman as the w***e. They'll never have the ba**s to show something else."
Nita Ambani, too, owns an IPL team, but Zinta feels nobody would show a business woman or male actor in bad light.
"I am grateful that Farhan said, 'Oh, it's fiction,' but then, why is fiction so one-dimensional?"
