Priyadarshan’s 2003 comic caper, Hungama, which starred Aftab Shivdasani, Akshaye Khanna and Rimi Sen, is now ready for a sequel.

Producer Ratan Jain and Priyadarshan are keen to make it with newer faces. Word is that Disha Patani has been approached to reprise Rimi’s role.

We hear Ayushmann Khurrana might also be part of the project. The original starred Paresh Rawal and Shoma Anand, too. The makers ought to repeat the two veterans as their nok-jhok raised many chuckles in the film’s first part.
