The friendship between Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan strains... over a song! It appears that all's not well between Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan. The friendly bonding the two once shared has been strained.

The Fashion actress agreed and also expressed her choice of song. Meanwhile Abhishek also agreed to get jiggy at the event and voiced his choice of track. The problem arose when it was realised that both expressed a desire to dance to the same track. u00a0 Says a source, "Priyanka selected the track first. Later, Abhishek also wanted the same song. As he was performing after a long time, he wanted to get jiggy on this particular track." This is when PC got a tad irritated. She was adamant about her choice, especially since she had expressed it first. But realising that there would be no headway, the actress backed out of performing at the event. As a result, Bipasha Basu was asked to perform. Adds the source, "It was clear that Priyanka was irritated. She preferred to let the opportunity go than change her track. PC did not want to explain the situation to Abhishek she preferred to let him be and opt out herself. Their warm camaraderie has definitely gone kaput." Priyanka's spokesperson says, "There was absolutely no issue with Abhishek. It's completely unrelated. There was some back and forth and the choice of songs for her to perform on. By the time it was sorted, it was too late for rehearsals, etc. And Priyanka did not want to compromise on her act. She decided to opt out of performing at the awards."
