Priyanka Chopra questioned why she is the only female actor to feature in the top 10 of the Forbes' Celebrity India 100 list, which ranks celebrities in order of their annual income. "I was not born with a silver spoon. I have worked hard to be where I am, and each of us deserves to be compensated for it [hard work]. Why are men not asked about the number of zeroes on their cheques? We should ask why there is just one woman on the list," PeeCee said, hinting at pay disparity between genders. With an approximate income of Rs.68 crore in 2017, she, however, beat Hrithik Roshan and MS Dhoni.
