Chennai: Superstar Rajinikanth Wednesday petitioned the Madras High Court seeking a stay on the release of Hindi film "Main Hoon Rajinikanth". He said the film might defame him and upset his large fan base.

In his petition, Rajinikanth said he has "never endorsed" any film or product using his name as it might "mislead his fans".
