Sources say that director Mohit Suri has played an instrumental role in casting this rather unusual couple. &ldquo;Rajkummar will play Vidya&rsquo;s husband in the film. Though it&rsquo;s a small part, Rajkummar didn&rsquo;t want to miss out on the opportunity to work with his favourite actress. He truly appreciates Vidya&rsquo;s work and is known to be her big fan,&rdquo; says a source close to the project.
Producer Mukesh Bhatt confirmed the story. &ldquo;We started shooting with Vidya Balan in Kolkata on Ashtami and Emraan Hashmi joined us on October 5. Rajkummar Rao is also a part of the film; he is playing Vidya&rsquo;s husband,&rdquo; he said.
Bhatt added that while the first schedule of the film has taken them to Kolkata, the movie would also be filmed in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Cape Town. &ldquo;The final schedule of the film will be shot in Mumbai in December and we plan to release the film on June 12 next year,&rdquo; said Bhatt.
