Supreme Court gives Rajpal Yadav a lost chance to deposit Rs 2 crore in cheque bounce case

Actor Rajpal Yadav received temporary relief from the Supreme Court on Tuesday, September 15. The actor was granted a final opportunity of two weeks to furnish a concrete proposal for clearing his outstanding dues amid his multiple cheque-bounce cases. The court also asked him to deposit Rs 2 crore within two weeks.
Rajpal Yadav gets 2 weeks to deposit amount
According to Bar and Bench, Chief Justice of India Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana, during the recent hearing, nevertheless granted two more weeks to Rajpal Yadav to deposit Rs 5 crore. The actor was asked to deposit the amount with the court registry as a condition to avoid jail time.
