Get ready to be thrust into the world of Ramayana: Rise of a Legend the next time you’re in a theatre. A two-minute-26-second trailer of the movie’s 3D version was cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on October 15 and will play in cinemas from next week before the Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash-starrer arrives on November 5.
A source close to the development revealed, “The 3D version is an important part of filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari’s vision, and particularly the film’s global strategy. The idea is to give audiences an experience that makes them want to watch the movie on the big screen. The IMAX format will be a key part of that push. In terms of release, the makers are targeting more than 50,000 screens in international markets and approximately 9000 screens in India.”
