The much-awaited trailer of Ramayana was set to make its debut on July 24 and take the film to the global stage at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. Hours before its scheduled unveiling, producer Namit Malhotra announced that the launch has been postponed. The decision comes after the makers joined hands with Sony Pictures Entertainment for the film's global release.

Ramayana producer Namit Malhotra shared a statement that read, “Today is a very special moment for our Ramayana. My dream of taking Ramayana to the world is now a reality with our partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment. In light of the above, we will be launching our trailer globally at a later date."
