Rani Mukerji immersed the ashes of her father Ram Mukerji at the Sangam in Allahabad on Monday. The filmmaker passed away on Sunday. Rani was accompanied by husband Aditya Chopra, brother Raja Mukerji and near and dear ones. The family took a steamer ride to Sangam to immerse the ashes. Ram, one of the founders of Filmalaya Studios, had directed films such as Hum Hindustani (1960) and Leader (2010).
