Following the enormous success of Jawan, filmmaker Atlee is preparing to delight viewers once more with his forthcoming film AA22 x A6. Deepika Padukone and Allu Arjun play the film's lead roles. Ranveer Singh recently praised Atlee during an event for his advertisement.
At the launch, Ranveer Singh was seen heaping praises for Atlee, "Before he became a household name with Jawan and the biggest director in India, I had messaged him after the release of Mersal and said, ‘Sir, I love your cinema. You should come to Mumbai, and we should make some movies together.’ I have always wanted to collaborate with Atlee sir. He’s been such a dear friend to me over the years."

Ranveer Singh went on to praise Atlee's upcoming film AA22 x A6, “It’s always great hanging out with him and working with him and his super-duper awesome team. Being in front of the lens of Mr G.K. Vishnu is such an honour and delight. I happened to visit him on the set of his current film because my wife was shooting with him. You may have heard this before, but you can hear it from me — he is creating something you’ve never experienced or seen in Indian cinema before.”
Atlee previously discussed AA22 x A6 in an interview with India Today Digital, indicating that he is creating something "very new, intriguing, and addictive to watch." The filmmaker is also cooperating with Hollywood technicians on the project. When asked about their involvement, he stated, "Hollywood technicians are also working on this film, and even they say it's a very challenging project, which makes me believe we're creating something truly big."
All about the film
The film, produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, was officially announced on Allu Arjun's 43rd birthday in April of this year. It is his comeback to the big screen following the enormous success of Pushpa 2: The Rule. According to reports, the film will be a sci-fi actioner with Deepika Padukone playing the lead part of an action-packed avatar. The project is now under production.
Meanwhile, Ranveer can be seen in an advertisement for Ching, directed by Atlee and starring Bobby Deol and Sreeleela. The advertisement was apparently created with a budget of Rs 150 crore. The actor is also looking forward to the release of his new film, Dhurandhar, a spy action thriller starring Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna, as well as Sara Arjun. Aditya Dhar directed the film, which will be released in theaters on December 5.
