Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3, starring Ranveer Singh, is set to begin filming in September. A report suggests that Farhan is wrapping up 120 Bahadur, while Ranveer has finished shooting a major portion of Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandar, and has started prepping for Don 3. Vikrant Massey, who apparently plays the antagonist, will join Ranveer in the first schedule. The buzz is that the film will be high on action and feature stylised action sequences, including bike chases, between Ranveer and Vikrant. This marks their reunion on screen since Dil Dhadakne Do (2015). mid-day had reported that after Kiara Advani walked out of the project, Sharvari was being considered for the female lead (Don finds a new Roma?, April 9). However the buzz is that Kriti Sanon is back in the race for this film.

The second season of Dahaad, starring Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah, is reportedly in the works. According to sources, Amazon Prime Video has given the green light, and the team is currently working on the script. We have learnt that the work on the show is underway, and the team will figure out a shooting timeline soon. The makers apparently plan to mount it on a bigger scale due to the overwhelming response to the first season, which dropped in 2023. While there’s no confirmation on the cast, Zoya Akhtar, one of the makers of the show, had previously confirmed the second season, stating that writer and director Reema Kagti had started working on the script. The show’s debut season received praise for its gripping plot and stellar performances.

Aly Goni and Jasmine Bhasin are set to move in together, having bought a lavish flat in Mumbai. Aly shared a vlog showing his emotional goodbye to his old apartment, where he’d lived for four years. “I’m really happy that Jasmine and I are moving together, but somewhere I’m very sad because it’s not easy to leave the house where you’ve spent so many years,” he said. He added that he had discussed moving in for over a year, planning carefully to ensure they have their own spaces within the new home.

Dhamaal 4, directed by Indra Kumar, is scheduled for release on Eid 2026. The makers, on May 16, announced, “The maddest hatter of entertainment is back! This rollercoaster of comedy, drama, action and chaos is all set to storm theatres on Eid 2026.” Boasting a stellar star cast including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar and Ravi Kishan, the film promises to be a laugh riot. It is currently being shot in Mumbai after an extensive first schedule in Malshej Ghat. The Dhamaal franchise is known for its comedy of errors, drama, action, and music.
