If the latest buzz is to be believed, Tamanchey might not release on September 19. Sources say that the makers of this Nikhil Dwivedi and Richa Chadda-starrer have decided to postpone the release of their film, since a total of six films are scheduled to release on the same day.

Says a source, &ldquo;The film was supposed to release on September 19, but the makers realised that it will face tough competition since six films are hitting the big screen on the same day. The makers don&rsquo;t want other films to eat into their share, so they now plan to push ahead their film&rsquo;s release.&rdquo;
It may be pointed out that this list of six films includes the Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan-starrer Khoobsurat, Yash Raj Films&rsquo; Daawat-E-Ishq, Ugly, Roar and 3AM.
&ldquo;With so many films releasing at the same time, it&rsquo;s but obvious that getting screens will be a difficult task. These films will have to vie against each other and it gets all the more difficult if big films are up for release. So it makes sense for Tamanchey&rsquo;s makers to shift the release date,&rdquo; says the source.
A source close to the film says, &ldquo;We are now thinking about releasing the film in the last week of September.&rdquo; When contacted, producer Suryaveer Singh confirmed the story. &ldquo;Yes, we are looking at September 26 or October 10. We are meeting our distributors now, so we will finalise things accordingly,&rdquo; he said.
