While the series captures Hong Kong’s celebrated skyline, glittering harbour, and high-energy urban life, it also ventures beyond the familiar to reveal a quieter, more unexpected side of the city.
From serene beaches and scenic hiking trails to immersive adventure experiences, the show uncovers hidden gems that challenge conventional perceptions of Hong Kong. It also delves into the richness of Cantonese culture, highlighting traditional practices and local rituals. Along the way, Ridhi Dogra connects with local influencers and guides, offering viewers a first-hand look at the city and its people.

Speaking about the series, Ridhi Dogra said, “Being part of Postcards from Hong Kong with Nat Geo was a deeply enriching experience. A National Geographic India spokesperson added that the series aims to explore the city through an intimate, human lens, highlighting its layered culture and unexpected experiences. Hong Kong Tourism Board’s Director for South Asia, Puneet Kumar, also noted that the show presents a fresh and nuanced portrayal of the city’s diversity and spirit.
