Saregama released the official uncut video of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani's medley

Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is a film that has a strong repeat value. Marking the directorial comeback of the filmmaker who completes 25 years in the film industry, the rom-com headlined by Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt released on July 28. One of the key highlights of the film was Dharmendra and Shabana's romance.

In a poignant sequence, the veteran actors are rekindling their romance through the medium of yesteryear songs like O Saathi Chal, Yeh Sham Mastani, Aaj Mausam Bada Beimaan Hai and Ek Pyar ka Nagma Hai. However, the entire medley has been trimmed for the theatrical version. Probably owing to the runtime which originally exceeded over 3 hours. Now, Saregama Caravan has officially released the uncut version on YouTube.
Two songs, Hum Tum Ek Kamre Mein and Aao Na, Gale Lagao Na, were trimmed out of the theatrical version. In the modern-day rendition of the song from Alia's late father-in-law Rishi Kapoor's film Bobby, the actress can be seen dressed in a yellow printed chiffon saree. Her chemistry with Ranveer was sizzling.
In Aao Na, Gale Lagao Na from Mere Jeevan Saathi, Dharmendra and Shabana enjoyed a spa session together. On the other hand, Ranveer and Alia are romancing in the corridor and stairs of a hotel in Delhi. The actress wore a black saree with red floral print. Ranveer was dressed in a black tracksuit.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been selected for the 28th Busan International Film Festival. The Karan Johar directorial will be screened at the Open Cinema section. The film reportedly collected over Rs. 300 crores at the global box office. It entered the 100-crore club in India as well.
Penning a note expressing gratitude, Karan wrote, "To Rocky & Rani, I have a separate love letter I want to write to you but I want to say you’re the most indispensable part of this prem kahaani. Both of you, not only made the film what it is but also gave me so much energy from the love you gave me. I love you both to the moon & back - and I hope and pray that I get to work with you soon again."
