Saif Ali Khan is gearing up for his much-awaited thriller Haiwaan, which marks his reunion with Akshay Kumar after 17 years. The actor was in the news last year after he was attacked by an intruder at his Bandra home and suffered multiple stab wounds. Now, Saif has opened up about the lasting impact of the incident and how it changed him.

Saif on impact of stabbing incident

Speaking to Gulf News, Saif said the stabbing incident taught him to be more careful. “I wasn't a big fan of security, and I quite liked an open thing. But my takeaway is that there are a lot of haves and have-nots in the world, and you should not tempt fate. So you have to lock the doors, you have to put away the valuables, and you have to understand how lucky you are and how unlucky most people are,” he said.
