Actor Shahid Kapoor turned 43 on February 25. His wife Mira Kapoor, took to Instagram a day later to wish her loving husband on his special day. Sharing a mushy picture of the two smiling in a selfie, followed by the picturesque view of the sun and moon, Mira wrote, “Happy Birthday to my sun & moon. Beautiful Piscean Sun and the full Virgo Moon. The universe shines on you."

Shahid married Mira in an intimate ceremony in 2015. The latter is 13 years his junior. They welcomed their first child, daughter Misha in 2016, and son Zain in 2018.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid was recently seen in 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya'. Written and directed by first-time filmmakers Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film features Shahid as a man who falls in love with a robot, named Sifra (Kriti Sanon). It opened to mixed reviews. The film also stars veteran stars Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia.
Shahid will be next seen in the action thriller film 'Deva' which also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead role. The film is being helmed by Rosshan Andrrews, known for Malayalam films like 'Salute' and 'Kayamkulam Kochunni'. It is being produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Zee Studios. 'Deva' will be released in theatres on the occasion of Dussehra 2024.
In December, the makers wrapped up the film's first schedule. Roy Kapur Films shared a picture on X (formerly Twitter) and made the announcement. They wrote, "And it's a wrap for #DEVA schedule one. See you in 2024!" The makers shared a picture of a gun-shaped cake with the text, "Deva first schedule done and dusted."

Besides that, Shahid also has the second season of the web series 'Farzi' alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Bhuvan Arora, and Regina Cassandra. Helmed by the acclaimed director duo, Raj and DK, the crime thriller revolves around the life of a small-time con artist Sunny (played by Shahid), who finds himself drawn into the dark while creating a perfect con. However, a fiery and unconventional task force officer (played by Vijay) has made it his mission to rid the nation of the threat he poses.
