Shahid Kapoor stays put at fan's house waiting for crowds leaving Wankhede Stadium after World Cup finale to thin out

While most stars got stuck in traffic jams for hours post their exit from Wankhede stadium on Saturday night, Shahid Kapoor did the smart thing and waited it out at a fan's home in Churchgate.

A source close to the actor reveals, "Shaks watched the match with brothers Ishaan and Ruhaan.



Papa Pankaj was against the idea as Shahid was sporting his new look for Mausam. After the match, the brothers took one of the back gates so he could give the snaparazzi the slip."

A crowd began to gather but his car was nowhere in sight.

"The Agarwals, who live right behind the stadium and were also waiting for their car, invited the actor to wait it out at their place. The wait lasted all of two hours."
