I&rsquo;ve had the privilege of choreographing him at various events. He is extremely supportive and appreciative of the work I do, and gives me the creative liberty to design the act. He always makes each member of the dance company feel special through his blog posts.u00a0At the opening ceremony of the ongoing cricket league, Bachchanji recited a beautiful poetry while my dance company demonstrated the Shiamak Style, an Indo-contemporary interpretation of the poem. A lot goes into choreographing and designing every act to bring out the uniqueness in the star performing it. Getting inspired I find inspiration in everything, God is in the details and that&rsquo;s what my choreography represents. Even the smallest movement can be the most powerful. Dance is in the chaos, it exists in silence, a four-year-old inspires me by his energy, and an eighty-four-year-old inspires me by his spirit. My spiritual guides, the Bhavnagiris, helped me understand my mission of spreading the joy of dance and the power of the performing arts to heal people. My students have been my pillars of strength and have always inspired me. Evolution of choreography Music and dance have been integral to Bollywood from the beginning. Initially,u00a0I thought my style was too western, but Shah Rukh (Khan) and Yash (Chopra) uncle&rsquo;s belief in me made me choreograph Dil Toh Pagal Hai. This movie created a standard, gave Bollywood dancing a structure. Dance became a serious field after that movie, as people saw a new style. People are more aware of western styles today and incorporating them with our Indian movement makes the choreography very interesting. Going global Hollywood has opened up and is receptive to international styles. Bollywood being one of the largest film industries globally, Indian choreography is quite popular everywhere. I have dance classes running to packed houses all over the world. I try to ambassador our rich culture through dance.u00a0
