Looks like bad times are still dogging Shirish Kunder with buzz that the editor has been ousted from Karan Johar&rsquo;s next film Ungli. Insiders say Deepa Bhatia (director Amole Gupte&rsquo;s wife) has been roped in to fill in for him after creative differences broke out between KJo and Kunder. <img alt="Shirish Kunder" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/sep/Shirish-Kunder.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 462px;" /> Currently with no work in his kitty, buzz is that Farah Khan&rsquo;s husband is now concentrating on his next directorial venture, which he plans to start soon. Says a source, &ldquo;The film has seen some delay in its making. And now with problems between Karan-Rensil D&rsquo;Silva (director) and Kunder, the makers had to look for an alternative. They felt Kunder was taking too much time to edit the film. Deepa is Karan&rsquo;s trusted editor who has also worked on My Name is Khan and Student of The Year. She has already started work on the film.&rdquo; Kunder however denies being ousted from the project. He states, &ldquo;Not true. I do not professionally edit anymore, not even my wife&rsquo;s film (Farah&rsquo;s Happy New year). This was a small commitment I had taken on till July, as I was still deciding what to direct next. This was to release in September but got delayed and my commitment ended in July. I had to move on my to directorial venture. Moreover, Karan and I have never once spoken on this project.&rdquo; Karan remained unavailable for comment.u00a0 Change of fortune? Ever since his infamous slapping incident with Shah Rukh Khan, Lady Luck seems to be eluding Kunder. With a tiff with Akshay Kumar coming to light, their film Joker also proved to be a dud at the box office. Soon after, producer Sajid Nadiadwala allegedly replaced him from Kick and then came buzz that he wouldn&rsquo;t be editing Farah&rsquo;s film.
