This recently released film with an ensemble cast did not fetch rave reviews due to a disappointing climax. The shaky ending was thanks to the top star, who after seeing the rushes, decided to turn his back on the project.
He refused to co-operate during the shooting of the climax, saying he was tied up with another film &mdash; a comic caper. The director then had to hastily shoot with the other cast members with some help from VFX. It was also the reason the said actor was not gung-ho about the promotions.
He gave time, just a handful of days, before the release. The filmmaker and the actor go back a long way. This was their fourth outing together, but in the changed scenario, it does not appear they will work together again.
