Those in the know state that after seeing her in the film along with the protagonist, the makers felt the two looked highly mismatched. The actress' waistline, which has been constantly talked about, is too apparent on screen. So, it was decided that she would not join the hero for promotions to avoid making the odd pairing and their  difference in size even more discernible.
