Shraddha Kapoor gained massive fame and became a well-known face after her 2013 film Aashiqui, directed by Mohit Suri. She recently watched the director's latest offering, Saiyaara, and like many others, has been all praise for the film. She seemed smitten by the romantic film as she took to Instagram to share about how she felt watching the film.
Shraddha Kapoor hails Saiyaara
Taking to Instagram, Shraddha shared a video of herself watching the film in the theatre on her Instagram stories. The actress was seen clapping and cheering for the film and its director, Mohit Suri. Along with the video, she wrote, "Saiyaara se Aashiqui ho gayi hai mujhe." She also shared a follow-up story with a picture Aneet Padda in the scene and wrote, "Iss moment ke liye 5 baar dekoongi."
In the same picture, she also wrote: “Pure cinema…Pure drama…Pure magic. Uff..” She further added: “Bohot time baad itna emotions feels kiya hai. Iss moment ke liye 5 baar dekhoongi. (I've felt so many emotions after such a long time. I'm going to watch this moment five times.)”

The film features debutant Ahaan Pandey as Krish Kapoor, who is a struggling musician, along with Aneet Padda who plays Vaani Batra, a young lyricist diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. As the two collaborate on a project, they eventually fall in love. The story talks about love, loss, and memory through the evolving relationship.

On the professional front, Shraddha will be reportedly joining hands with ‘Tumbbad’ maker Rahi Anil Barve for her next project. Additionally, reports also claim that she has signed a multi-film contract with producer Ektaa Kapoor.
One of Shraddha's other untitled dramas with Ektaa is rumoured to mark the reunion of the beloved ‘Aashiqui 2’ pair, Shraddha and Aditya Roy Kapoor. However, nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
Furthermore, reports also suggest that Shraddha is also in talks for the forthcoming instalment of the popular Dhoom franchise, wherein she is expected to reunite with her 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' co-star Ranbir Kapoor.
She was last seen in the 2024 film Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank, a sequel of her comedy horror film Stree which released in 2018. The film directed by Amar Kaushik is the fourth instalment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe and also stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana.
