Singer Shruti Pathak who has sung numbers like Mar Jawa, Tujhe Bhula Diya and the recent Shubhaarambh is now back with her band to revisit the classic ghazals
She tells CS, “I love ghazals and wanted to do something to bring in young listeners to the world of ghazals. My band and I have worked on some old ghazals with a new sound.
We have tried to keep their lyrics and melody intact but given them modern instrumentation. Ghazals are rich in melody, poetry and emotions and I feel that young music enthusiasts should know more about ghazals.”u00a0
