As the NGO is working towards rural empowerment, the actress will walk the ramp with Mahadev Gosalkar, a farmer, who took the initiative to educate his daughter and has now become a community leader.
Sonakshi says, &ldquo;Last year, I missed being part of the fundraiser, but this time I made sure I was there. It is a small step I am taking to make a difference.
In the future, I would like to adopt a village or a girl child, but right now I want to create awareness about the struggles the villagers go through to make ends meet.&rdquo;
