Raghav Sharma, Farmer
I’ve always wanted to keep a moustache. I loved seeing pictures of Bhagat Singh and Chandra Shekhar Azad and the way they used to twirl. I started sporting a goatee then a beard and now a moustache. I like the Talwars (that’s what they’re called in Punjabi) style the most. My moustache is inspired by a man I met in a bus while travelling to Chandigarh. I think celebrities like Freddie Mercury, Tom Selleck and Amitabh Bachchan (especially in The Great Gatsby) carry off their moustaches effortlessly. I refrain from using any moustache wax or any product. I condition it twice a week, and before sleeping, use a comb to straighten it out and let it rest for the night. You keep twirling them initially, and it will never let you down. A true moustache man will never use any product as it harms the hair and according to me the whole point is lost if you do. I’ve kept my moustache for more than three and a half years now and have no plans of trimming it down or shaving it off.
