Though the film industry and the audience alike may choose to not look beyond her sex appeal, Sunny Leone believes she has entrepreneurial skills. The actor has now ventured into production with SunnyCity Media and Entertainment. The production house has shot a television commercial featuring the actor, for an app-based company.
Talking about her turn as a producer, an elated Leone says, "I have always been focused on the way I want to take my career forward. Venturing into production was something that Daniel [Weber, husband] and I were considering for quite some time."
The marketing officials of the app had originally approached Sunny Leone to be the face of the brand. While the actor was happy to be the brand ambassador, she offered to produce the commercial. "It was the perfect opportunity to launch the production house. We brainstormed with director Sunny Rajani before he shot the ad."
While Leone will have to juggle the studio and her acting commitments, Weber intends to oversee the day-to-day business. He adds, "Both Sunny and I come from a production background. So, turning producers was a natural step for us. The ad has turned out well, it will air early next month." Rajani adds, "We're already in talks for a few more commercials."
