Sushmita Sen said one of the things that tops her long to-do list is doing a film with which she can take a bow. Sen, who was last seen in the Bengali film Nirbaak, (2015) said she owes it to her fans who continue to shower her with love and admiration.
"I have many things to do. I have to do a film with which I can take a bow. I would like to give back all the love. I owe it to the people who love me. It doesn't matter if they are five or five thousand. I have to do a film for them and make sure that it's a hit. I'm taking my time but I'll do it," she stated.
She also expressed the wish to learn skiing, parallel bar gymnastics and get back to diving. The actor was talking on the sidelines of a fashion week in the city yesterday. Sen said she feels blessed to be still asked about her next film in an industry where female actors are believed to have a limited shelf life.
"People say that we have seen enough of them, they are past their screen age. I'm one of those blessed people who is asked even today, when I will be seen in a film again," said Sen. The former Miss Universe was the showstopper for designer couple Muzaffar Ali and his wife Meera's collection. The collection by the Umrao Jaan (1981) filmmaker showcased innovated forms of chikankari, zardozi, aari and muqqaish work.
