Swanand Kirkire and Sneha Khanwalkar
Lyricist, singer, and composer Swanand Kirkire is set to perform at the Serendipity Arts Festival in London alongside composer Sneha Khanwalkar, best known for scoring Gangs of Wasseypur’s (2012) album. At the June 5 event, the two will perform a mix of their new and old hits.
Naturally excited about playing for a new set of audience, Kirkire said, “Live performances are always special because they allow you to connect directly with people through music. Music belongs to everyone. Even when people come from different cultures or speak different languages, it creates a common emotional space. That is something I value while performing live.”
