Motherhood has kept Swara Bhasker busy since her daughter Raabiyaa’s birth in 2023. Now, slowly and surely, acting is calling out to her. But we won’t see the actor in front of the camera just yet. For now, she has found another way to connect with her craft. From June 1, Bhasker will kick off Acting 360, an eight-day workshop in Delhi that will train aspirants in acting, diction training, character building, and more.

When asked what seeded the idea of starting the workshop, Bhasker pointed to her background in acting. “I am a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. I have done theatre with IPTA [Indian People’s Theatre Association], workshops at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. My biggest influence in workshops is Adishakti Theatre. Because of all this, I have a theoretical understanding of the classical Indian concepts of arts and performances,” she said.
