I must have auditioned at least five times over two-and-a-half months to bag the role of Tulsi. I was over the moon.

It was a wonderful experience to work with Julia. She's such a pleasure to look at and work with. She's not only a professional and sensible actor but also caring and thoughtful; she has all the qualities of a mother and a good actor.

She's very spontaneous and creative and is up front in voicing her opinion, though she's polite. She'd visited India last year and so knew quite a lot about our culture. But one thing that piqued her curiosity was Ganesha.

She also loves to eat chicken curry dishes, though she finds them fattening!
