Actress Tanishaa Mukerji recently made headlines after making serious allegations against Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) over the disconnection of power at her Lonavala property. MSEDCL has now alleged that the supply was cut after the outstanding bill remained unpaid despite repeated notices and requests for payment.
MSEDCL reveals why Tanishaa Mukerji's power supply was cut
According to a Free Press Journal report, the electricity department stated that the electricity supply was disconnected on September 26. Later, it was restored on Wednesday, September 30, soon after Mukerji paid the outstanding Rs 3,000 through an online payment method.
