Actor Rajat Bedi, who made his grand comeback on the screens with Aryan Khan's directorial debut The Ba***ds of Bollywood, recently opened up about bagging the role. He also confirmed that season 2 of the show is under works

Aryan Khan's directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, has been making headlines with all the praise it has been receiving. The show has grabbed everyone's attention with its star cast, including Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal and Sahher Bambba in the lead, along with cameos by SRK himself, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, SS Rajamouli, Aamir Khan and several others. However, one of the things that excited was the comeback of Rajat Bedi. He won several hearts with his earnest performance and hilarious comic timing as Jaraj Saxena in the show. He recently opened up about his role and also spilled the beans on season 2 of the series.

While talking to News18, Rajat confirmed seaon 2 saying, “Yes, season two is happening. It’s in the works. I’m hopeful that audiences are going to see more of me in the second season."
Further discussing the reaction that he is getting for the show, Bedi shared, “It’s unbelievable! Not just me but my whole family – my son, my daughter, my wife – too feels like god gave us everything together all at once. Suddenly, my life has taken a U-turn. I’m getting so much love from all around the world. It feels like the rains are finally over and the sun is out shining bright. The Ba***ds Of Bollywood is the reason why other things didn’t work out for me. God had a plan for me," he added.
Rajat went on to add, “He was very sure that he wanted only me for the role. They had a casting director, who met the other actors. But when it came to me, I was the only actor Aryan met directly. If I didn’t do the role, he wouldn’t have this character in the show. I was so overwhelmed. But he had me at hello. I was getting an opportunity with SRK’s son and that too in his first venture. This show is going to go down in history. I wouldn’t care even if it was a small role.”

Bedi starred in many popular films like The Hero Love Story of a Spy, Koi Mil Gaya, Jaani Dushman, Partner, and others in the early 2000s. However, he was missing from the industry for the last many years. In 2023, he was seen in the Punjabi film Gol Gappe, followed by a Telugu movie Ahimsa. However, The Ba***ds of Bollywood marks his big comeback in Hindi cinema.
