Actress Neha Dhupia recently addressed rumours about her participation in The Traitors India Season 2, hosted by Karan Johar. Several reports had been circulating on the internet claiming that the actress is set to join the reality show. However, Neha has put all rumours to rest by clarifying that she is not a part of the upcoming season.

The reality show is currently being shot in Rajasthan. Although the confirmed list of contestants has not been revealed, several celebrity names have been circulating online as potential participants. Neha Dhupia's name had also been circulating among those rumoured to be joining the show. However, the actress has now confirmed that she is not participating as a contestant.

Taking to social media on Wednesday, Neha shared a post clearing the air. She wrote, "Neither am I a 'traitor' nor am I an 'innocent'. I'm just too busy going on DOUBLEDATE S Coming soon."
Neha denied being part of The Traitors 2, and subtly hinted at an upcoming project seemingly titled Double Date.

As The Traitors India Season 2 continues filming in Rajasthan, the speculations around its contestant lineup remain strong. According to reports doing the rounds on the internet, TV actress Krystle D'Souza, who was seen in Dhurandhar, is all set to join The Traitors India. Similarly, other reports suggest names like Rhea Chakraborty, Shalini Passi, Munawar Faruqui, and Mallika Sherawat among the celebs this season. YouTube personality Fukra Insaan (Abhishek Malhan) and comedian Kullu (Aaditya Kulshrestha) were also spotted arriving at Suryagarh Resort in Jaisalmer, where the show is being filmed, on March 23 for the show.
The second season marks a return of the reality show after the first season premiered on Amazon Prime Video India in 2025. Notably, the show was renewed for a second season even before its finale aired on July 3, 2025. The first season was jointly won by actress and social media star Uorfi Javed and poker player Nikita Luther. Karan hosted the debut season of the show and will be returning to host the second season as well.
The participants of Season 1 included Raj Kundra, Purav Jha, Sufi Motiwala, Anshula Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Raftaar, Ashish Vidyarthi, Jannat Zubair, Elnaaz Norouzi, and Lakshmi Manchu, among others.
