It's been almost two months since Fardeen Khan lost his dad Feroz Khan. The best way to deal with bereavement and grief is to immerse oneself in work. And that's exactly what FK is doing.

Khan Jr says, "I believe you should not mix your personal and professional lives. Both have their respective places and you need to give each your best. Grief should be private. When I decided to begin shooting for All The Best, there was pain but I had to get back to work fast. Grief is best kept for personal moments or with those who share it with you."

There's lots to do

That the actor was shooting at a far-flung place in Goa, made it easier for him. "The location is cut off from civilisation, we are right near Karnataka's border. Even then there is lots to do here apart from the shoot keeping yourself busy is the best way to overcome anything that has happened in your life."

And that's what FK plans to do in the coming months. He did not have a major release since Darling and Heyy Babyy in 2007. Though Jai Veeru released earlier this year, it just came and went. "Yes, there has been a big gap. But this year, I make up for it with several films lined up. First will be Life Partner followed by Dulha Mil Gaya. Then there is Acid Factory and All The Best."

Work not affected by loss

He adds, "The shoot for All The Best goes on till May 26 and later there is a shoot in South Africa after which I go into promoting Life Partner which releases in August. Contrary to speculation, it is not that I do not want to promote Life Partner because of my bereavement.

Even the promos haven't started yet, the promotion will follow only later. I would not let my personal loss get in the way of my work. There's also three days of filming left for Dulha Mil Gaya, followed by its dubbing. So if I am not shooting, I will be either dubbing or promoting my films. That makes for a busy 2009 for me."
