Tiger Zinda Hai director refutes suggestions that the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer is deferred due to the Central Board of Film Certifications' 68-day submission policy

Scheduled releases of Bollywood outings were affected recently after the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) brought its 68-day submission policy to light. Amidst the controversy surrounding the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati, the Board highlighted that films must be submitted for reviewing 68 days prior to the release date. After recent releases like Firangi and Tera Intezar were apparently affected, rumours suggested that Tiger Zinda Hai too would be postponed. However, director Ali Abbas Zafar argues that his Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer will hit screens on December 22, as planned.'
