This directorial venture of Mahadevan is produced by Meteor films, headed by Dinesh Bansal and supported by Ajeenkya D Y Patil, Chairman, D Y Patil Knowledge city, Pune. Indus Communications, headed by Viveck Shettyy, is the official communications agency for the film.

Pure passion ruled the day at the launch of 'Uchalya' at Sun n Sand, Juhu as the cast and crew waxed eloquent on their forthcoming Marathi film venture, based on Laxman Gaikwad's Sahitya Academy Award winning book by the same title.
