It seems actor Varun Dhawan is not one to take trolling too seriously. Instead, he has decided to hop on the trend and have some fun with it. In recent days, Dhawan’s smile has gone viral on social media, with many netizens mimicking it and joking about how he would react in different situations. The actor has now addressed the viral trend and even turned it into a tutorial.

On Wednesday, Dhawan went live on Instagram to interact with fans while en route to the Karwar Naval Base for the promotions of his upcoming film Border 2. He was accompanied by singer Vishal Mishra.
After greeting people, Varun said while looking at Vishal, “I know my smile is trending.” He then broke into his now-viral signature smile, leaving netizens amused. As Vishal burst out laughing, Varun asked him to try mimicking it.
Varun then instructed Vishal on how to do it, saying, “Give full smile and drop your smile from one side.” Vishal followed the instructions, and the duo soon burst into laughter.
Varun further said that he was happy the whole of India was smiling along with him.

Varun Dhawan responds to trolling
Actor Varun Dhawan, who is currently gearing up for the release of Border 2, also recently responded to a netizen who questioned his acting skills. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film also stars Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in lead roles.
In the comments section of Instagram, a user wrote, “Bhai aapki acting pe sawaal utha raha hai log, uske liye kya bolega?” Responding with humour, Varun replied, “Yehi sawaal ne gaana hit kara diya. Sab enjoy kar rahe hain- rab di mehar.”
A few days earlier, Varun hosted a fun Ask Me Anything (AMA) session. One fan criticised Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, calling it “pathetic” and questioning Varun’s comeback. The fan wrote, “Bhai, aren’t you serious about your comeback? Stop doing pathetic movies like SSKTK in the name of versatility.”
Replying cheekily, Varun said, “Chalo, film phir bhi thodi chal gayi. Aap theatre jaate rehna. Main Border 2 might surprise you, since your taste is amazing.”
Another fan recalled a dialogue from Kalank and shared, “‘Jab kisi aur ki barbaadi apni jeet lagne lage, toh samajh lena… tum bhi barbaad ho chuke ho.’” Responding thoughtfully, Varun wrote, “Bahut sahi baat hai yeh. Kuch log aise hote hain. All one can do is keep your head down and work. Never laugh at someone’s failure.”
