Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has opened up about one of the most turbulent phases of his life, recalling the legal troubles that led to his arrest and the pressure he allegedly faced to strike a deal with a powerful individual to secure his freedom.

Speaking in a recent interview, Bhatt reflected on the difficult period when he was sent to jail in connection with a cheque bounce case. The filmmaker said the experience was emotionally draining and left him confronting a system that seemed stacked against him.
