Virat and Anushka tied the knot on December 11, 2017 in Italy. The duo was blessed with Vamika on January 11, 2021. The couple was tight-lipped about their second pregnancy. However, former South Africa skipper AB de Villiers on his official YouTube channel revealed that Kohli and Anushka were expecting their second child. The former Proteas skipper apologised to Kohli, saying he made a "blunder" in his previous video.
Anushka will be next seen in the upcoming sports biopic film 'Chakda Xpress' which is based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami and will stream exclusively on Netflix. The film has been directed by Prosit Roy and also stars Renuka Shahane, Anshul Chauhan, Koushik Sen, and Mahesh Thakur. The final release date of the film is still awaited.
