The 39-year-old gave them a pre-order of 7000 lanterns and 50 dozen til laddoos (sesame sweetmeats), which he plans to distribute among the patients of Cancer Patients Aid Association&nbsp;(CPAA) and girls of his Devi foundation in Vrindavan.
"I strongly believe that we need to encourage these initiatives. Encouragement is the best manner of support,&rdquo; Vivek, who walked the ramp for the cause of cancer patients on his fifth wedding&nbsp;anniversary earlier this month, said in a statement.
Vivek has also been chosen by the Maharashtra government to promote 'Jan Dhan Van Dhan', an initiative that promotes small scale industries and farmer goods.
