Popular celebrity couple, Kunal Kemmu and Soha Ali Khan who launched their first book together on April 22 last year, titled ‘Inni and Bobo Find Each Other,’ had caught up with Mid-day.com for a special chat!

As the 'Kalyug' star turns a year older today, here's a quick look back at one of his most fun-filled interviews which he gave to Mid-day.com alongside his actor-wife, Soha Ali Khan.

The couple spoke about their love for animals and how they try to inculcate the same into daughter Inaaya, whom the book is dedicated to. Kunal said, “I used to love animals since a young age but I was not allowed to have pets for a long time. I got a pet dog and took her home and my mother had a big fight with me! She said, ‘I’m not going to look after it.’ It was a matter of few days and my mother fell in love with it more than I did! I’ve always like to have animals in and around my life. Unfortunately, I lost Masti in November who was with me since 2008 but I think that’s what kept Inaaya also in the line, she loves animals whether it’s dogs. We try to inculcate that and love all animals.”

The book also has a message ‘Adopt don’t shop.’ Speaking about the same, Soha said, “We believe in adopting. There’s a huge animal population that are strays, who need homes. When there is such a supply of cute fur balls, why shop when you can adopt! We’ve worked very closely with NGOs in Delhi and Mumbai that rescue and re-home stray animals, that’s where we would tell you to turn to if you’re looking to get a pet.”
