At the first-look release of RGV's Not A Love Story, the director was at his jovial best. As he had introduced the Bbuddha Hoga Terra Baap director Puri Jagannath to Amitabh Bachchan, he was asked who would be his ideal choice for Buddhi Hogi Teri Maa. Ramu quickly responded "Rekha" but he didn't have a specific reason.
He stated, "It's just that her name came to my mind first." And when he was quizzed whether he will cast the Big B opposite Rekha he shrugged off saying, "I am not making the film. All I am saying is that it can be a follow-up film to Bbuddha Hoga Terra Baap."
