Imran and Naseema Mirza have extended invitations to several Bollywood folk for the marriage reception of their daughter Sania on April 15. The tennis star wed Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Mailk yesterday. A source close to Salman Khan states that he andhisu00a0 entire family has received the card. While Shahid Kapoor has been kept out of the guest listu00a0-- for reasons obvious (see box alongside).

Hockey bonds
Interestingly, one of the B-Town guests invited, is Raza Murad. The character actor and Sania's father go back a long way. When the Mirzas were staying in Mumbai before they relocated to Hyderabad, Raza and the tennis player's dad used to bond over hockey.
Confirms Raza, "Yes, I have received an invitation and I will be attending the event in Hyderabad. I have known Sania's father for years now. I used to often attend hockey matches at the BHA grounds at Churhgate. Imran was also a regular at the grounds. We struck up a friendship there."
